In "This Way Up" you (and up to 5 of your colleagues, friends or family) will learn the mindset and methods for tackling any challenge in life and/or work. Utilizing this challenge navigation system, participants will improve self-awareness and focus, gaining the motivation, self-efficacy and confidence to achieve their goals. This Way Up's curriculum is based on current research in performance psychology, combined with the instructor’s experiences of working and performing in physically and psychologically demanding conditions.
About the instructor: Josie McKee enjoys pushing the edges of her potential and loves sharing her knowledge on the subject. She is a professional mountain athlete, a speaker and an educator, specializing in leadership and emergency response. She has a BA in Human Development and is a National Registry EMT. She has worked as an instructor for NOLS (The National Outdoor Leadership School), a technician on the Yosemite Search & Rescue team and teaches courses around the globe. She holds records for climbing Yosemite's walls, has done expeditions in the Himalaya and Patagonia and has features based on these challenges in the Alpinist Newswire, Outside Online, Triple Black TV, Unsung and The Wilder Mind Podcast.
