This 2 hour virtual class fits up to 4 people. Invite your friends and join Massimo and Walter to learn the secrets of baking Tartine-style bread! In this highly interactive class you will learn to make a natural starter and how to refresh it, fundamentals of making a basic Tartine-style Country bread, including making the leaven and mixing the dough, fermenting, dividing, shaping a boule, proofing and scoring before baking – options of Dutch oven and baking stone will be discussed. The class includes delivery of a starter to your home, if you are on the Peninsula or South Bay
If shelter in place ends before the expiration, the class can be provided in person and will include tasting the freshly baked bread.
